Its not often three guys with no expectations get together to form a surprisingly organic original sound. Located in the heart of Virginia, Circles & Waves was formed early in 2006 and has managed to find a very strong synergy creating music together. The groups style ranges from funk fusion, jazz to independent rock. It all comes together to form a funky high energy, but easy to listen to independent sound. Sharing the stage along side of such groups as The Temptations, a variety of jam bands and even punk rock has proven well for the trio over the short few months they have performed as a group. Influences consists of Minus the Bear, Killers, The Police, Mute Math, Modest Mouse and many many more!.
